Excitement, Anxiety and Apprehension!
Where do all of these emotions come together? Getting ready for a wedding! At the office of Dr. Bruce Sexton we are preparing for two weddings. Our newest hygienist Jill is getting married this Saturday September 22nd. Our dental assistant Melissa is getting married on October 6th. To their credit, both ladies appear calm, cool and collected. I thought I’d use my monthly blog to share Jill and Melissa’s stories about how they met their significant others. Jill’s story:
July 29,2008 is when I met Dale. We met at the “Troutorama” Festival in Baldwin, MI. When I saw him standing there with his group of friends, I pointed to him and said to my girlfriend Pat “I’m going to marry that man!” Before I knew it, I was moving to Wayland from the Detroit area just to be with him. Our wedding is on September 22nd, and we are looking forward to celebrating with our family and friends. Then we are off on the Harley for a week of fun and adventure!
Melissa’s story:
Blake and I both grew up in the country on farms. We both attended Hopkins High School, and that’s where we met. We hung out in the same crowd, but were not close until after we graduated. We became fast friends because we shared so many interests. Soon the friendship grew to more. Blake and I have now been dating for five years and are getting married on October 6th. We enjoy going to Silver Lake, tractor pulls and mud running. We are excited to spend the rest of our lives together and to start a family.
